II.5 Silink Technology & Service Provider Notice

Original effective date: 12 October 2018 Last updated: 31 March 2026

This notice provides illustrative transparency regarding the categories and examples of technology, AI, cloud, and third-party service providers that Silink Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201833784D) may use in connection with its business operations, service delivery, internal workflows, and digital infrastructure.

Inclusion of a provider, category, model, or example in this notice does not mean that it is used in every workflow, used continuously, used for every user, or currently active in production for every relevant function at all times.

1. Nature and status of this notice

This notice is provided for transparency and does not form part of any binding contractual commitment, service-level guarantee, or enforceable undertaking regarding provider selection, continuity, configuration, or data-processing geography.

Silink may at any time and without prior notice:

  • add, remove, substitute, upgrade, downgrade, or reconfigure any provider, model, version, hosting arrangement, or service tier listed or described in this notice
  • use providers, models, tools, or infrastructure not listed in this notice
  • route processing through different providers, regions, or intermediaries depending on availability, cost, performance, capacity, legal requirements, or operational considerations
  • trial, pilot, evaluate, or benchmark providers without updating this notice

This notice supplements but does not expand or modify the rights, obligations, limitations, or risk allocation set out in the Silink Privacy Policy, the Silink Digital Platform Terms, or any other applicable Silink legal document. In particular, nothing in this notice creates any right to require Silink to use or continue using any specific provider, hosting geography, model version, retention configuration, or processing arrangement.

For clarity, the providers or categories mentioned in this notice may include current providers, backup providers, pilot providers, replacement candidates, intermediary routing services, support tools, or infrastructure layers that are used directly or indirectly in connection with Silink's operations.

2. Categories of technology providers

The following categories illustrate the types of third-party technology and service providers that Silink may engage. The specific providers, models, versions, and configurations used may change over time as the technology landscape evolves.

Large language model (LLM) providers

Silink may use one or more LLM providers for chat assistance, message drafting, summarisation, classification, candidate matching support, search intent analysis, translation, and other AI-assisted workflows.

Google (Gemini)United StatesMultimodal transcription fallback

Embedding and semantic search providers

ProviderHeadquartersExample use

Embedding providers may be accessed through intermediary routing services.

Cloud infrastructure, storage, and operational providers

Silink may use cloud hosting, database, storage, backup, analytics, CRM, messaging, communications, payment, and operational service providers located in various jurisdictions. These providers are engaged as part of Silink's general business infrastructure and are not individually listed in this notice.

Video, communications, and collaboration providers

Silink may use video-meeting, enterprise-messaging, workplace-collaboration, and customer-communication tools from providers located in various jurisdictions.

3. Intermediaries, integrations, and provider roles

Silink may access a technology capability through more than one contractual or technical layer. For example, a model provider may be accessed through an API router, a cloud platform, a systems integrator, a hosting intermediary, or another vendor's embedded infrastructure.

Accordingly:

  • a provider listed in this notice may act directly for Silink or indirectly through another service provider, reseller, aggregator, platform, SDK, plugin, or infrastructure layer
  • a listed provider may process only limited categories of data, metadata, logs, or support information rather than the full contents of a customer relationship or workflow
  • the legal role of a provider may vary by context and may include processor, sub-processor, independent controller, platform operator, communications intermediary, infrastructure provider, or another legally relevant role depending on the service and applicable law
  • nothing in this notice is intended to provide a definitive legal classification of every provider relationship for every workflow

4. Cross-border processing

Many of the providers listed above are headquartered in or operate infrastructure from jurisdictions outside Singapore, including the United States and China. As described in the Silink Privacy Policy, information processed through these providers may be transferred to, hosted in, accessed from, or backed up in locations outside Singapore.

Each provider operates under its own legal framework, data-processing terms, retention practices, and obligations regarding lawful access requests, compulsory disclosures, and regulatory compliance in its home jurisdiction and operating jurisdictions.

5. Provider data retention

Depending on the provider, service tier, and configuration:

  • prompts, inputs, outputs, logs, and metadata submitted to or generated by a provider may be retained by that provider for operational, safety, abuse-detection, debugging, or legal-compliance purposes
  • retention periods, deletion practices, and data-handling commitments vary by provider and may change as providers update their own terms and policies
  • Silink selects configurations and providers that it considers commercially and operationally appropriate but does not guarantee zero-retention, immediate deletion, single-tenant isolation, or absolute data-localisation outcomes for every processing interaction
  • some providers may retain only operational telemetry, abuse-prevention records, billing records, or account-level metadata, while others may process prompts, files, transcripts, or generated outputs depending on the workflow design

6. No guaranteed provider continuity

The AI and technology landscape evolves rapidly. Providers may change their pricing, terms, availability, model capabilities, safety policies, regional restrictions, or data-handling practices. Silink reserves the right to respond to such changes by switching, adding, removing, or reconfiguring providers at any time.

No user, customer, or counterparty may rely on the continued use of any specific provider, model, version, or configuration listed in this notice.

7. No advice, endorsement, or separate warranty

This notice does not amount to legal, technical, cybersecurity, procurement, insurance, or suitability advice to any person. It also does not constitute an endorsement, certification, representation, or warranty by Silink regarding the quality, security, uninterrupted availability, regulatory status, or fitness for purpose of any listed provider.

This notice is a supplementary transparency measure. The legal framework governing collection, use, disclosure, transfer, retention, and protection of personal data remains the Silink Privacy Policy.

Where this notice and the Privacy Policy address the same subject matter, the Privacy Policy prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.

9. Updates

Silink may update this notice from time to time to reflect changes in its technology stack. Such updates do not by themselves constitute material changes to the Silink Privacy Policy or any other binding legal document.
