I. Silink Legal Terms & Policies

Original effective date: 12 October 2018 Last updated: 31 March 2026

This page is the central legal and contractual entry point for Silink Pte. Ltd. (UEN 201833784D). It brings together the principal policies and terms that govern our websites, mobile and messaging channels, Helpering-related products, customer enquiries, candidate browsing, order submissions, placement services, after-sales support, associated internal or AI-assisted workflows, and other current or future Silink business lines that may operate through the same legal, commercial, digital, or operational infrastructure.

This centre is designed to let Silink maintain a single coherent legal architecture rather than relying on scattered legacy clauses, outdated PDFs, or disconnected notices. It is intentionally structured so that one top-level legal hub can direct customers, staff, and counterparties to the correct document for the relevant scenario.

Unless we expressly state otherwise in a signed or case-specific written instrument, Silink Pte. Ltd. remains the issuing, operating, and contracting entity behind these materials even where a front-end channel, app, product, campaign, or feature is presented under a different label such as Helpering.

This hub page is primarily a navigational and explanatory legal map. Unless a clause on this page expressly states otherwise, the principal binding rules, rights, restrictions, obligations, remedies, and privacy positions remain contained in the linked subject-specific documents, together with any transaction-specific writing and mandatory law.

I. Covered business channels

Unless stated otherwise, the documents linked from this page apply across Silink’s present and future business channels, service touchpoints, and operating contexts where the relevant subject matter is engaged. The examples below are illustrative only and do not limit the businesses, channels, fulfilment models, or service environments to which the legal stack may apply:

  • all current or future Silink-managed subpages, campaign pages, embedded enquiry or order forms, and similar digital entry points
  • the client services entry at https://www.silinksg.com/services/clients/
  • Helpering and related iPhone, Android, Google Play, web, and WeChat mini program touchpoints
  • customer communications through phone, WhatsApp, WeChat, email, website chat, in-app chat, video meetings, enterprise messaging, and similar channels
  • staff-assisted, AI-assisted, workflow-assisted, offline, field-based, or hybrid service operations used to support customers, placements, fulfilment, servicing, or other Silink business activities

The following documents form the main legal stack for Silink:

Silink Privacy Policy

This is the main privacy and PDPA-facing notice for:

  • website visitors
  • app and mini program users
  • form submissions
  • customer chats and communication records
  • AI-assisted processing, logs, transcripts, analytics, and retention

Silink Digital Platform Terms

This is the product and platform rulebook for:

  • Helpering accounts
  • biodata browsing
  • shortlist and chat features
  • acceptable use, restrictions, and content rules
  • account suspension, intellectual property, and platform liability limits

Silink Client Terms of Business

This is the main commercial and service contract for:

  • customers who engage Silink to search, shortlist, recommend, process, place, or support domestic helper and related services
  • quotations, fees, payments, documents, regulatory handling, and service scope
  • customer obligations, disclaimers, suspension, termination, indemnities, and liability allocation
  • other Silink service lines where these terms are incorporated, adapted, or supplemented by a quotation, package, order flow, or service-specific written instrument

Silink After-Sales, Replacement & Refund Policy

This is the operational policy for:

  • replacement support
  • post-placement servicing
  • refund handling
  • statutory refund compliance
  • transfer support, boarding, coordination windows, and loan reconciliation

It is intended for Silink’s own domestic-helper or Migrant Domestic Worker placement and related post-placement workflows, not by default for third-party-provider service lines such as confinement nanny, postpartum care, hourly services, training, or referral-only services unless current writing expressly says otherwise.

This document is service-specific and does not automatically apply to every Silink business line or every customer relationship. It applies where the relevant Silink-handled domestic-helper or Migrant Domestic Worker placement, transfer, or after-sales workflow expressly or implicitly incorporates it by reference.

Silink Technology & Service Provider Notice

This is a supplementary transparency notice listing illustrative categories and examples of technology, AI, cloud, and third-party service providers that Silink may use. It is provided for transparency only and does not form part of any binding contractual commitment regarding provider selection, continuity, or configuration.

Silink Third-Party Services Terms

This is the specialised customer-facing rulebook for:

  • third-party, partner, referral, vendor-delivered, and marketplace-style service lines
  • hourly or on-site support, training sessions, home-services bookings, introduction services, and similar non-helper-placement service workflows made available by or through Silink
  • role allocation between Silink and the underlying provider, including introduction-only, coordination, collection, and booking structures
  • covered-service cancellations, substitutions, complaints handling, and third-party service risk allocation

III. Supporting service schedules

Silink Hourly & On-Site Services Schedule

This is the supporting schedule for hourly, on-site, visit-based, home-support, and similar provider-delivered service sessions made available by or through Silink.

Silink Training & Classes Schedule

This is the supporting schedule for training sessions, workshops, classes, assessments, and other learning-format services made available by or through Silink.

Silink Introduction & Referral Services Schedule

This is the supporting schedule for introduction-only, referral-only, shortlisting, lead, and connection-style third-party service workflows made available by or through Silink.

IV. Service-line applicability

Not every document in this legal hub applies in the same way to every Silink activity.

  • the privacy policy is the broadest document and applies across Silink’s channels, systems, and business operations where personal data is processed
  • the platform terms apply to digital products, workflows, modules, and interfaces made available by or for Silink
  • the client terms function as the principal commercial framework for customer engagements, but may be supplemented or partially displaced by more specific service-line terms, quotations, or signed instruments
  • the after-sales policy applies only where the relevant service includes a Silink-handled domestic-helper or Migrant Domestic Worker placement, transfer, post-placement support, replacement support, boarding, refund review, or another expressly covered operational workflow
  • the technology provider notice is a supplementary transparency notice that may be relevant across multiple digital, AI-assisted, cloud, data-processing, or vendor-enabled workflows, but it does not by itself create service entitlements, provider continuity rights, or commercial remedies
  • the third-party services terms apply where a service, booking, referral, class, visit, or fulfilment step is supplied wholly or partly by an independent third-party provider while Silink operates, facilitates, coordinates, introduces, bills, collects for, or otherwise commercially supports the relevant workflow
  • future Silink business lines may be accompanied by additional service-specific terms, policies, schedules, notices, or standalone agreements that supplement or, to the extent expressly stated, modify parts of this legal stack

Access to one Silink service, channel, or business line does not by itself import the after-sales, refund, replacement, or operational-support rules of another service line.

V. How these documents work together

These documents are deliberately separated because they serve different legal functions:

  • the privacy policy deals with collection, use, disclosure, transfer, retention, and protection of data
  • the platform terms regulate use of the Helpering product and related digital channels
  • the client service agreement governs the commercial relationship between Silink and the customer
  • the after-sales policy governs support, replacement, refund, and post-placement operations for covered Silink-handled domestic-helper or Migrant Domestic Worker matters
  • the technology provider notice provides supplementary transparency regarding categories of vendors and infrastructure that may be used, without independently expanding contractual rights or obligations
  • the third-party services terms govern covered non-helper-placement service lines where independent providers deliver the underlying service while Silink facilitates the commercial or operational workflow

This structure lets Silink maintain a professional legal system without forcing unrelated subjects into a single over-compressed document.

It also allows Silink to support multiple business lines without implying that a helper-specific support promise, replacement entitlement, or refund workflow automatically extends to an unrelated product, retail concept, food and beverage venture, software offering, or future service line.

Where the same facts engage more than one document, the documents are intended to apply cumulatively by subject matter rather than one displacing the others wholesale. The privacy policy governs privacy and data matters, the platform terms govern digital-environment use and restrictions, the client terms govern the overall commercial relationship, the after-sales policy governs covered Silink-handled domestic-helper or Migrant Domestic Worker after-sales issues, the third-party services terms govern covered vendor-delivered and referral-style service lines, and the technology provider notice adds contextual transparency about provider categories without displacing the other documents.

For the avoidance of doubt, this hub is not intended to collapse all subject matter into a single omnibus contract or to suggest that every linked document applies wholesale to every channel, workflow, user, or transaction.

A document may become applicable through direct acceptance, express incorporation, continued use after notice, transaction-specific writing, the nature of the relevant service line or subject matter, or mandatory law.

VI. Order of precedence

Unless applicable law requires otherwise, the following order will generally apply:

  1. mandatory law and regulatory requirements
  2. signed service agreements, quotations, invoices, or bespoke written terms issued by Silink for the relevant transaction
  3. the applicable subject-specific document in this Silink Legal Terms & Policies hub for the relevant issue
  4. general marketing materials, FAQs, or informal messages

Where a price, fee, timeline, promotion, campaign, coupon, or service package changes over time, the latest written quotation, invoice, or official written confirmation issued by Silink for the relevant matter will prevail over older marketing or legacy materials.

For the avoidance of doubt, a supplementary transparency notice such as the Silink Technology & Service Provider Notice does not by itself override the allocation of rights, obligations, liability, or remedies set out in a binding contract, the Privacy Policy, the Platform Terms, the Client Terms, the After-Sales Policy, or mandatory law.

VII. Acceptance mechanics

Depending on the context, a person may accept the relevant document by:

  • using our website, app, or mini program
  • registering an account or logging in
  • submitting a Google Form, website form, chat enquiry, or order request
  • browsing biodata, shortlists, or candidate material
  • continuing a service request after notice of the applicable terms
  • paying any invoice, deposit, fee, or service charge
  • signing or electronically accepting a quotation, contract, onboarding form, or workflow

Acceptance of a particular document, notice, or workflow may also operate as acceptance of any other Silink legal document that is expressly incorporated, properly brought to the relevant person’s attention, triggered by the relevant subject matter or service line, made applicable by the transaction documents, or otherwise applicable under mandatory law; it does not, however, mean that every linked document applies wholesale in every respect to every interaction.

For operational notice purposes, Silink may use short-form wording substantially in the following form: “By accessing or using this service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by the current Silink Legal Terms & Policies made available at the legal terms page designated by Silink from time to time, together with any transaction-specific terms, notices, consents, or service conditions presented for the relevant interaction.” References in such short-form wording to the legal terms page may be satisfied by any current URL, landing page, entry page, redirect page, successor page, or replacement location designated by Silink for that purpose. Such short-form wording is intended to incorporate the then-current applicable Silink documents for the relevant interaction without suggesting that every linked document applies wholesale irrespective of subject matter, service line, transaction context, or mandatory law.

VIII. Why this structure replaces legacy fragmentation

Silink’s legal documentation should not rely on historical PDFs whose commercial assumptions, price references, or operational language may no longer reflect current practice, current regulatory expectations, or current platform channels.

This Silink Legal Terms & Policies hub is intended to:

  • absorb the valid legal logic of older materials
  • remove outdated pricing references from fixed public legal text where such pricing should instead sit in quotations or current schedules
  • update refund and post-placement language so it can track prevailing legal and MOM-facing requirements
  • cover modern channels such as Helpering, embedded forms, website chat, messaging apps, and AI-assisted workflows
  • create a single public-facing legal home for Silink

Across all linked documents, Silink adopts the following legal and operational principles:

  • information supplied by customers must be lawful, accurate, and properly authorised
  • candidate and helper information is controlled information and cannot be copied, scraped, or misused
  • Silink may use staff, vendors, cloud systems, and AI-assisted tools to operate efficiently and lawfully
  • Silink may rely on digital records, timestamps, transcripts, system logs, and workflow notes as evidence
  • regulatory outcomes, work pass decisions, medical fitness, travel timing, and placement suitability cannot be guaranteed
  • prices, third-party costs, and variable operational charges are governed by the latest applicable written commercial document rather than stale public text
  • service-specific support rights, refund logic, and after-sales commitments arise only where the relevant service line, package, or written arrangement actually provides for them
