III.2 Silink Training & Classes Schedule

Original effective date: 31 March 2026 Last updated: 31 March 2026

This schedule supplements the Silink Third-Party Services Terms for courses, workshops, assessments, training sessions, classes, coaching sessions, practice modules, and similar learning-format services offered by or through Silink.

1. Nature of training services

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • a training service may be delivered by a third-party trainer, instructor, partner institution, venue operator, assessor, or platform-enabled provider
  • course outlines, class descriptions, learning outcomes, example materials, timetables, and promotional content are illustrative and may be updated
  • a training package may be delivered in person, online, hybrid, recorded, live, group-based, one-to-one, modular, or assessment-linked format

2. Booking, enrolment, and class confirmation

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • enrolment is confirmed only after acceptance by Silink or the relevant training provider and satisfaction of any stated preconditions
  • we may require upfront payment, deposit payment, participant information, language information, skill-level information, attendance confirmation, or identity verification before confirmation
  • class dates, trainers, venues, learning format, class size, and sequencing may change
  • a class, batch, or workshop may be combined, postponed, rescheduled, substituted, moved online, moved offline, or withdrawn where commercially or operationally necessary
  • minimum participant thresholds or maximum class-capacity limits may apply

3. Attendance, lateness, and participant conduct

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • participants must arrive on time and be ready to participate
  • late arrival may reduce training time, bar entry after a cut-off point, or be treated as partial attendance or non-attendance
  • absent participants, unwilling participants, or participants removed for misconduct are not automatically entitled to replacement classes or refunds
  • participants must behave respectfully toward trainers, staff, and other participants
  • we may remove, suspend, or refuse participation where conduct is disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, or inconsistent with the learning environment

4. Learning outcomes, assessment results, and no guarantee

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise:

  • Silink does not guarantee certification, pass results, job placement, licensing approval, household acceptance, employer satisfaction, or future earnings
  • participation in a training service does not guarantee that a participant will be selected by a household, employer, agency, or other third party
  • a participant’s progress depends on attendance, language ability, effort, comprehension, practical conditions, and external decision-makers beyond Silink’s control
  • feedback, observations, scores, assessments, or completion status may be contextual and need not amount to a warranty of future performance

5. Training materials, recordings, and intellectual property

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • training materials, slides, handouts, videos, worksheets, templates, trainer content, and course structure remain protected by intellectual-property and confidentiality rules
  • course access may be personal, limited, revocable, and non-transferable
  • participants must not reproduce, record, redistribute, upload, resell, publish, or commercially exploit training content without written permission
  • if a session is recorded, photographed, transcribed, or summarised for operational, training, quality-control, or evidential purposes, the use and handling of the relevant personal data remain subject to the Silink Privacy Policy

6. Expiry, package usage, and missed sessions

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • a class package, course credit, training slot, or session entitlement may carry an expiry date or usage window
  • missed classes, unused credits, late attendance, participant withdrawal, or inability to continue may result in forfeiture to the extent permitted by law and current writing
  • make-up classes, substitute sessions, online alternatives, recordings, or rescheduled attendance may be offered only where operationally available and commercially appropriate

7. Venue rules, health, and safety

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • participants must comply with venue rules, dress requirements, hygiene expectations, safety instructions, and trainer directions
  • participants must disclose material health, mobility, behavioural, or access issues that could reasonably affect participation or safety
  • we may suspend, refuse, or modify participation where a participant appears unfit, unsafe, or materially incompatible with the session conditions

8. Cancellation, postponement, and provider changes

Unless current writing expressly states otherwise:

  • participant-side cancellations, no-shows, and short-notice postponements may be chargeable or non-refundable
  • trainer illness, low enrolment, venue issues, compliance issues, or operational changes may require postponement, substitution, or format changes
  • a change in trainer, venue, timetable, class size, or delivery mode does not by itself entitle the participant to cancel without consequence unless mandatory law or current writing provides otherwise

9. Household, employment, and regulatory separation

Where a training service relates to domestic helpers, care workers, or household service roles:

  • the training relationship remains separate from any future employment, placement, transfer, or introduction decision unless current writing expressly links them
  • a household, employer, or future service recipient remains responsible for its own decision-making and due diligence
  • training completion does not by itself create a representation by Silink that the participant is suitable for any particular household, infant, patient, or service environment
